Early Life :
Gauri Khan was born in New Delhi, India, on October 8, 1970. She belongs to a Punjabi Hindu family. Her father’s name is Col Ramesh Chandra Chibber and mother’s name is Savita Chibber. She has a brother named Vikrant Chibber. She completed her schooling from Modern School, New Delhi, and graduated from Lady Sriram College, Delhi University. She also did a six-month fashion design course at the National Institute of Fashion Technology and learnt tailoring for her father’s garment business.
Gauri first met Shah Rukh Khan in 1984 in Delhi, before the start of his successful career in Bollywood. The couple married on 25 October 1991. They have a son Aryan (born 1997) and a daughter Suhana (born 2000). In 2013 they became parents of a third child, a son, named Abram, who was born through a surrogate mother.
